28 reasons I Love Firefox
Let me count the ways.
1) It's FREE!
2)Safer surfing. More information on sites, the ability to report a scam site, be warned when a site is a suspected forgery.
3) Improved cookie handling. Complete cookie control. You can choose to accept cookies until they expire, I close Firefox or ask me everytime. You can allow cookies until they expire, you close out of FIrefox or deny them.
4) View many pages in the same window, in multiple tabs.
5) Firefox recovers from system crashes or errors by remembering what sites you had in each tab you can restore your previous session. You can choose to Restore Session or Start New Session.
6) Multiple search engines at the click of a mouse on a drop down menu.
7) A more detailed Tools > Options section allows much more control than internet explorer.
8) History of recently closed tabs so you can easily revisit pages you've already browsed to or you can show your history of visited tabs in the sidebar.
9) All the latest breaking news are available at the click of a drop down menu.
10) You can change the view to increase or decrease the text size - you don't need your reading glasses. It's under View > Text Size > Increase or Decrease
11) Customize firefox to your personal surfing preferences. Find it under Bookmarks > Mozilla Firefox > Customize Firefox.
12) Built in download manager.
13) Tons of help and tutorials on how to use Firefox. Under Bookmarks > Mozilla Firefox > Help & Tutorials
14) For all those closet surfers, Tools > Clear Private Data. Does it get any easier than that?
15) Trust. Tools > Page Info, under the security tab Website Identity Verified or Not Verified - gives you all the information you need to make an educated decision about whether you cna trust the web site you are currently viewing.
16) Automatically block annoying pop-ups. Set Tools > Options > Content to automatically block pop-ups.
17) Tools > DOM Inspector Allows me to view all the source code for the site I am viewing.
18) Choose your level of privacy. You can choose to have FIrefox remember your pages visited, to remember your passwords or not, and to remember what you've downloaded or not.
19) Set preferences for certain file types on download. Choose whatever programs you use or are the most comfortable with.
20) Enable or disable Javascript and Java. For advanced users.
21) No more surprises! Under Tools > Options > Security check off the box that says 'Warn me when sites try to install add-ons. Then you can choose whether or not to allow the site to install the add-on if you trust it or not to if you don't or aren't sure.
22) Set a master password. For those of us that can't remember all the passwords we have, set a master password.
23) Built in spell checker. Tools > Options > Advanced > General Tab, check off the box beside check my spelling as I type. Great for e-mails!
24) Set the type of scrolling you would like to use. Tools > Options > Advanced > General Tab > Browsing Options Use auto-scrolling or smooth scrolling.
25) Total control. Set your level of cache space. Allow up to 50 MB of cache space or none.
26) You can view a site's security certificate and their verification.
27) Report a broken website, a web forgery (a phishing site) and check for updates.

I was using Internet Explorer until I discovered Firefox. Now I never use Internet Explorer anymore if I can avoid it. Firefox is a hundred times better and more reliable than Internet Explorer. They claim to be better, faster, safer and they are sooo not kidding!
